Hi! My name is Amy, I live in St. Louis, MO and I love wine. Although I am not formally trained in appreciating wine, growing grapes, making wine or even in how to cellar wine, I have done all of those things at some time or another and I’ve learned a few things along the way. Here on this blog, I plan to share those things with you, especially if you are new to drinking wine, or just want to learn more about how to find good values and good tasting wines. By day, I have a job that does not involve wine. By night, I am enjoying a glass of wine (unless I’ve moved to a glass of scotch or tequila). I cellar some wine (~150 bottles max), but because I like to be “wine-light”, I don’t feel obligated to only drink what I own. Instead, I can be flexible and try new releases from stores and wine bars as well as from wineries. This blog is designed to write about what I am drinking, what I am buying (and where), and how I would recommend cellaring it. Feel free to email me at drinkinwineblog@gmail.com, or comment on the blog pages.

Cheers!
